Over these past few months, our group has been researching child hunger. The reality of American hunger eludes many in the land of opportunity and the breadbasket of the world. Therefore, it is hard for us to imagine the extent of those that suffer from food insecurity and hunger.
There is no question about the availability of food and nourishment in the United States. The root of hunger lies in poverty and in so called "food deserts." Food deserts can be urban or rural are areas in which food is difficult to get if you cannot purchase it. Usually, the food available is low quality and very unhealthy.
As an American, it is our duty to take control of what happens in our country. For this reason, we made this blog, to change and improve the condition of those that go without food in this country
